Gifted to Fitz by Patience, and once gifted to his father, Prince Chivalry, by Burrich himself, the earring is present throughout Fitz’s (and the Fool’s) life and holds great meaning and significance to them all.

Inspired the Farseer Trilogy, The Tawny Man Trilogy and the Fitz The Fool Trilogy by Robin Hobb

Described in the books as a small, blue sapphire trapped in finely linked silver mesh, this is an enamel version of the earring that you can now wear yourself.

Each earring is 22mm x 15.4mm, is very thin, delicate and lightweight and is presented on an illustrated backing card.

The earrings are made from my illustration of Burrich’s earring, produced in silver plated metal with blue enamel on the sapphire. There is clear epoxy that’s also etched to give a see-through/glass effect on the netting around the jewel at it’s centre. The earrings are super thing and are thus, very light to wear. Finally, the earrings have antiqued silver fish hook style attachments to keep them securely in place. There is a clear epoxy resin coating over each earring to protect it from scratches and give it a smooth, lustrous finish.

Every item is carefully packed and sent by me from my home in Nottingham, United Kingdom, using eco-friendly materials!
