Inspired by the amazing Sabriel, Lirael and Abhorsen books by Garth Nix, here is the symbol of the necromancer Abhorsens used to decorate their robes and surcoats – a silver key.
The key was designed with the role of the Abhorsen in mind and includes a skull, a charter mark and two bells hidden within the decoration.
The pendant is 50mm x 17.7mm (about as big as a real key but very light weight!) and is attached to an 18" antique silver coloured chain and is presented on an illustrated backing card that's covered with shiny, metallic keys too.
The pendant itself is made from my illustration of the key, produced in stamped, antiqued metal.
